Wow how time flies!

I'm on to a new hobby these days & just wanted to share. I know it's been awhile since I posted so HELLOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I'm really getting into vinyl & using my silhouette more.  Faster product for me then cards to make & a lot less work!  For me anyways.

So after a few attempts, I have completed my first project...
My sweetie is left-handed so I chose to put the most important part so he could see it when he grabbed it to take a swig!
Anyways, thanks for checkin it out!

New Card

So it's been a few months since I made a card and wow has it ever been hard to get back into but I'm trying.  I love Sylvia Zet images & really enjoy coloring them.  This one is Iris.  She's just so damn cute!
I wanted to share a company that has a new website for scrapbooking/card making dies.  It's called "Southern Ridge Trading Co" & she has some of the most amazing pre-cut dies ever!  The butterfly that I used on my card is a die cut from her & I have many more in my stash that I really love!
I am entering my card into a the following challenges...
Cute Card Thursday - "So Sweet"
ABC Challenge - "D for Dazzle" which would be my sparkles on the wings
Card Mania - "Anything Goes"
Inky Chick - "Bingo" which I picked "Lace, Paper Doily, & Butterflies"
Divas by Design - "Anything Goes"

LDRD Blog Hop

Hello!  Today we are doing a CandiBean blog hop for the new CandiBean releases at Little Darling Rubber Stamps!  YAY!  You should have arrived here from Sara Winter's blog.  If you would like to start at the beginning, you'll have to go back to LDRS inspiration blog.

For our blog hop I chose to create a card using Izzy's Friends by CandiBeanAren't they just adorable?!  The pretty papers I used to layer were designed by Karina Rose and they are called Petals and Lace available at LDRS as well.

I've also added a few chipboard items including a butterfly and flags by Maya Road.  As always, Wild Orchid flowers add the feminine touch I'm always after.

We're giving away a FULL SET of this 10 stamp collection to one lucky winner!!!  You can enter very easily by visiting the LDRS inspiration blog for the full details.
All entries must be in by November 24, 2013 at noon EST.  The winner will be selected using random.org.

If you would like to hop on over to Sherri Willshire's blog, she will have some more gorgeous artwork for you to admire!
Happy Hopping!

Voilet Vintage

Hello to you!  I'm back today with a super cute card I created using a Saturated Canary, "Violet Vintage" image which you can purchase from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.   I matched her with some really pretty pink and brown papers from a "Glitz" paper pack, "Pretty in Pink" I had from some time ago.

I added some resin pieces which makes it feel a bit more vintage and a "SWEET" zipper.  The flags I made out of chipboard and burlap which came from Southern Ridge Trading Co.  Adding rhinestones always gives such a glitzy girly look...I love bling!
I've also added a few bouquets from Wild Orchid and a Memory Die butterfly for a nice finishing touch.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my artwork!  Have a sweet day! :)

Winter Moments

Hello! I'm back with another super cute image by Candi Bean called Winter Moments which you can purchase at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  Such a sweet little couple hangin out together!  I also used some beautiful paper called Frigid Fun which can also be purchased at LDRS.  I tried not to cover it up to much with too many embellishment because I really wanted you to see the paper.  The ribbon I used I bunched up before I put it on the card to give it some dimension.  The chipboard snowflake die is by Tim Holtz and I added some flock to it as well to add some different texture.  The reindeer and snowflakes are both by Maya Road and I added some crackle glue to give them a cool broken effect.
I hope you like it and thank you for stopping by!

Breeze

Hi All! I just wanted to share a card that I made using this cute image "Breeze" by Saturated Canary. You can purchase her at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps along with several other cute and fun images!
I used some pretty pastel papers from Maja Designs for a totally feminine look.  Oh wait, I guess the flowers from Wild Orchid and Live and Love crafts really help that look out as well.  I just love those rolled flowers!  I also incorporated some chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Co. and used frantage on them.

The butterfly die is a Magnolia Doo-hickey which I had previously punched out a bunch from my sister along with a tonne of others she had.  It's so awesome to have relatives and friends enjoying the same hobby!  LOL  Thanks again Eulanda!
I used a sketch from CLP Sketch Challenge for October for my card so I am entering it into that challenge.

Trick or Treat

Time for Halloween and all the fun things that go with it!  Dressing up, carving pumpkins, and making projects for carrying candy!  I used this cute "Little Darlings" image from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps called "Tricks or Treats".  I've added some Wild Orchid flowers as well as some cool looking pumpkins from my stash.
I also used the Silhouette Cameo to make this little carrying case.  It was already decked out specifically for Halloween so easy peasy to cut!
This is the back view.
 Side view.
I was able to fit in 5 Reese's peanut butter cups which may be a bit much for everyone in the neighborhood so I may not make a lot of them.
Also, there WAS candy in it but it's all gone now.  LOL  Note to self: Only buy candy on Halloween DAY and get rid of it all!!!

Yummy Candy Canes!

This is one of my favorite images that I own and I've made several different cards with her because she's just fun!  She is Candy Canes by Saturated Canary and you can purchase her at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.
I love pink and who says you have to make Christmas cards traditional colors?!  Not me!  So I added a few Wild Orchid pink flowers and pink leaves to really help the pink theme along.  I made my own rolled flowers with a Marianne Design die set that I have (2 different sizes-how sweet!) and the trees are Distinctively Dee's Dies.  You can make the trees as big or as small as you want with just one die!  There are two snowflake dies here and the smaller one is a Memory Box Snowflake Corner Die.  The border one is by Joy.   Wow did I ever get "die" happy on this card!  LOL
I used an old Hero Arts Stamp set I have called "Holiday Poste De Luxe" to stamp the edges around the image.  Oh and I used a SQUARE, yes I said square doily that my sister sent me.  Thanks Eulanda!  It was perfect!
I am entering my card into the Live and Love Crafts challenge which is Think Pink!  How fitting!
Thanks for stopping by!

LDRS Ice Princess

Well I certainly had fun with this one!!  I couldn't help myself with all the embellishments but that's what a princess deserves right?!  Nothing but the best!  This pretty looking lady is from the new LDRS line called "Ice Princess" so I really went for the wintery theme with a little feminine flower power!  The calendar is new as well from the "Frigid Fun" sentiment collection.
I layered up this card using papers from Bo Bunny's "Winter Frost" paper collection and added some layers of lace for texture.
I covered the Tim Holtz snowflake border with some white flock to give it a softer look and it just so happened to match the fur on her coat.  The white sprig and many of my flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and those gorgeous rolled flowers are from Live and Love Crafts.  I added some glitter to her tiara, cuz I'm sure we all agree that every princess needs her bling!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek!

Hugs!
